RIDE HEIGHTS:
RIGHT FRONT INNER A-FRAME MOUNTING POINT (1/4 INCH) LOWER THAN CENTERLINE OF BALL JOINT.
LEFT FRONT INNER A-FRAME MOUNTING POINT (1/8 INCH) LOWER THAN CENTERLINE OF BALL JOINT.
RIGHT REAR TRAILING ARM RUN UPHILL TO FRONT OF CAR (1/2 INCH HIGHER) THAN REAR END TRAILING ARM MOUNT.
LEFT REAR TRAILING ARM RUN UPHILL TO FRONT OF CAR (SAME AS RIGHT REAR).
SET TOE AT 1/4 OUT (DRIVER PREFERENCE).

REAR END LOCATION:
PUT SAME OFFSET WHEELS ON LEFT SIDE AND LINE UP FRONT AND REAR.
MEASURE FROM INSIDE OF RIGHT SIDE FRAME RAIL TO CENTER STUD ON BOTTOM OF REAR END, THIS WILL BE 18 INCHES.
SQUARE REAR END FRONT TO BACK OFF OF LOWER BALL JOINT, GREASE FITTINGS.
REAR TRAILING ARMS CENTER TO CENTER (17 INCHES) MOUNT IN BOTTOM HOLES ON CHASSIS AND BOTTOM HOLES ON REAR END.
TORQUE LINK OR PULL BAR (27 1/4 INCHES).
PINION ANGLE SHOULD BE 5 DEGREES DOWN.

PANHARD BAR:
START WITH PANHARD CENTER OF AXLE TUBE ON REAR END AND SAME HEIGHT ON FRAME MEASURED FROM GROUND TO CENTER OF HEIM ON BOTH SIDES.

DAMPNER SHOCK:
START WITH ONE 90-10 REAR END RUNNING UPHILL SLIGHTLY.  ADD MORE ANGLE TO TIGHTEN CAR ON ENTRY.  YOU MAY NEED TO ADD ANOTHER SHOCK IF CAR IS EXTREMELY LOOSE ON ENTRY.

LEAD PLACEMENT:
ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT LOWER LEAD WILL LOOSEN CAR AND HIGHER LEAD WILL TIGHTEN CAR ON BOTH CORNER ENTRY AND EXIT.  SETUP PROCEDURE SHOULD START WITH HAVING YOUR CAR READY TO BE SET-UP.  GO BACK AND CHECK YOUR STAGGER, AIR PRESSURE AND FRAME HEIGHTS.   THIS  SET-UP CAN ONLY BE JUSTIFIED WITH PROPER MAINTENANCE AND CHECKING ALL CHASSIS COMPONENTS ON A REGULAR BASIS.  

TUNING:
WHEN TUNING YOUR CHASSIS, SHOCK TRAVEL CAN HELP YOU DECIDE WHICH END OF THE RACE CAR TO WORK ON.  ALWAYS ANALYZE YOUR CAR FROM THE FLAG STAND TO CORNER ENTRY TO MIDDLE OF CORNER TO CORNER EXIT AND TUNE YOUR CAR IN THIS ORDER.

ALL CLAMP BRACKETS ON THE REAR END SHOULD BE TACK WELDED TO HOLD REAR END FROM TURNING.   THIS INCLUDES BRAKE BRACKETS.
